Business Description
Eagle Beverage, the corporate symbol of Anheuser Busch started with the merger of Dorsey Distributing in 1979. Dorsey Distributing was first founded with the help from Dennis and Daniel Dorsey’s father, R. Edward and the Pontiac Beverage Company which was started by Lawrence, Larry’s father. The company’s stock is presently shared equally among Larry Morgia, Dennis and Daniel Dorsey. All three hold positions of presidency or vice president among the different sectors of the company. In addition to Larry, Dennis and Daniel, Daniel Dorsey Jr., Kevin Dorsey and Christian Morgia are members of the board of directors and are Branch Managers in each facility.
The main product line of the company in addition to Anheuser Busch InBev, Inc. include Labatt’s USA, Diageo- Guinness USA, Pabst Brewing Company, Matt Brewing Company, Sackets Harbor Brewing, Magic Hat Brewing, Schaefer, Ithaca Beer Company, Cooperstown Brewing Company, Green Mountain Beverage, Hansen Beverage Company, Cadbury Schweppes, and Mountain Valley Spring Water.
Eagle Beverage is an active member of the New York State Beer Wholesalers Assoc., the National Beer Wholesalers Assoc. and The Fort Drum Liaison Committee.
