Thousand Islands Emergency Rescue Service
Business Description
Public emergency medical service (ambulance;) wheel chair van service, firstaid supplies and CPR & first aid training.
The heart and soul of our existence: providing the very best pre-hospital care possible.
Since TI-Rescue began, we have made thousands of emergency and non-emergency medical calls, living up to the goal set by leaders of the towns of Clayton and Orleans in 2003 (see The History of Thousand Islands Emergency Rescue Service here).
TI-Rescue volunteer and paid staff have hundreds of hours of training, practice and testing of knowledge and skills to provide top-quality care under all circumstances.
TI-Rescue has evolved with not just more equipment but newer and better equipment keeping as up-to-date as possible with the opportunities provided by new medical practices and technologies.
We are active in the river communities and have earned the support of community members and elected and non-elected community leaders and the respect of fire and emergency medical services providers throughout the region.
