1000 Islands River Rat Cheese is a small store with a large variety of products. We are the home for the Squeaky Cheese Curds fresh every Monday and Thursday! We carry aged Cheddar from as Mild as 6 months to as Sharp as 16 Years Old… that’s right, 16 Years! Along with our Curds, Cheddar Cheese, and Flavored Cheddars we carry a full line of Imported Cheese, which vary throughout the seasons. Stop in any day of the week for a great shopping experience.
We also carry many local products – Croghan Bologna, Maple Syrup, Honey, Jams, Coffee and much more. We have a large selection of candies, chocolates, licorice, nuts and so much more!
One of our favorite things here at the River Rat Cheese store are our Fried Cheese Curds, YUMMY! Available here every weekend from Memorial Day thru Labor Day. Our Fried Cheese Curds are served with Marinara Sauce or Raspberry Chile Sauce and are simply the best! Come visit us today!
